“Inside Corona – La pandémie, le réseau & les tireurs de ficelles. Les vraies raison derrière le covid-19”

For two years, the opposition to the freedom-destroying regimes of health measures has been debating the question: is this pandemic orchestrated or not? Merely thinking about this question has earned opponents the label of “conspiracy theorist”. What if there were an investigation that could provide an answer to this question and settle the debate? This is the subject of “Inside Corona” by Thomas Röper (2022) [1].

It is an analysis with an angle that is neither more nor less than the objective result of a substantiated analysis of several hundred sources and, above all, of a database containing public metadata drawn from the web. This book has caused such a stir that it was already out of stock before its publication! Here, exclusively for BAM! readers, is the summary of this very dense book, not yet translated into French.

Assisted in this task by “Mr. X”, an anonymous computer scientist skilled in using open-source intelligence software, Thomas Röper was able to reconstruct a network of people, organisations and institutions – only partly known to readers – directly involved in the preparations for the pandemic, serving to establish an economic system for their own benefit. Faced with the facts, even the most fervent followers of the “coincidence theory” will admit that it is becoming less and less likely. This is more than the story of a mere conspiracy: this is the story of a system.

About the author

Thomas Röper is an independent German journalist living in St. Petersburg. He is the editor of the journalism and media criticism website “Anti-Spiegel” and the author of numerous books of (geo-)political analysis. In a previous life, he held management positions in the financial sector and was a reader of so-called reference media, such as Der Spiegel. This trust was shaken during the Ukrainian political crisis in 2014, which led him to abandon his career to write an analysis of the coup d’état in Ukraine and to begin working as an independent investigative journalist. For the first six months of the pandemic, he reserved all judgement on it. It was his knowledge of figures and statistics, as well as the difference in the way the pandemic was treated by the Russian media (more reserved) and the Western media (in panic mode), that convinced him that something was afoot. In mid-May 2021, he received an email from Mr. X, who had managed, thanks to his software, to reconstruct the very network that Th. Röper had been investigating for months. However, neither Th. Röper nor Mr. X has ever defended the position that the virus does not exist or that all vaccines should be rejected a priori, provided they have been studied and proven safe and effective. What they denounce, on the other hand, is the subordination of health policies to financial and economic interests.

Before the pandemic

What we have experienced over the past two years with Covid allegedly has its origin in the H1N1 (swine flu) pandemic, declared by the WHO more than ten years ago. At the time, the pharmaceutical industry (GSK, Baxter and Novartis) had concluded contracts with several States obliging them to buy their vaccines in the event of a pandemic. As the WHO’s definition of a pandemic had been changed shortly beforehand, it declared a state of pandemic even though it was one of the mildest flus ever known. But even if it was good business for the pharmaceutical groups and their lobbyists, such as Heidi Larson – who played an important role at the time as well as in the case of Covid – it was not as lucrative as the industry had hoped. After a few months, the panic had subsided, and so few people got vaccinated that millions of vaccine doses, paid for by taxpayers, had to be destroyed. Despite their substantial profits, their shortfall was even greater.

Experienced as a failure by the pharmaceutical industry, it drew the following lessons from H1N1: at the next pandemic, it would need media massively exaggerating the dangerousness of the disease and perpetuating the fear; for populations to submit, they would have to feel the pandemic through restrictive measures imposed by States; and in the best case, States would not only buy its vaccines, but would also pay its development costs. H. Larson is the lobbyist who has been working since 2013 on the adoption of this strategy.

The spider’s web business model

How does this system work? It relies first of all on NGOs, i.e. all forms of non-governmental and non-commercial organisations, and therefore also foundations, think tanks and lobbies [2]. The majority of these NGOs have the status of charities, which on the one hand gives them an aura of disinterestedness and innocence, but on the other allows their founders to benefit from tax exemptions. Their transparency regarding the projects funded is only apparent. Most of these projects operate in the form of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in which the initial sum invested by the philanthropists and NGOs is heavily publicised, whereas it represents only a fraction of the sums of public money invested subsequently.

And as these PPPs are often created on the initiative of the NGOs, the latter control them through their experts, whom they manage to place in decisive positions. These experts are funded and hired by the former and active within the latter, thus creating a network of multiple ties that cause conflicts of interest influencing the experts.

The role of the UN

Many of these projects are designed to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the 2030 Agenda. The SDGs were put on paper by the UN in 2015 to replace the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The SDGs have this in common with the projects that claim to want to achieve them: they are worded in an equally vague way that is open to interpretation. This allows oligarchs such as Bill Gates or Georges Soros to seize on them in order to impose their visions of development. The aura of the UN gives the goals and projects in line with them an appearance of legitimacy and respectability.

T. Röper gives the example of goal number 2, entitled “End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture”. This can be interpreted as a transition to organic farming, marked by small to medium-sized family farms. But it could also be interpreted as an agricultural transition involving agribusiness and industry, supported by “green” technologies such as GMOs. Such a programme already existed and still exists, and it is called A Green Revolution for Africa (AGRA). AGRA claimed to promote agricultural development and the ecological transition in Africa for the benefit of small local producers. But ultimately, AGRA is ruining them by making them dependent on GMO seeds patented by the multinationals partnering in the programme, such as Monsanto, Bayer and Syngenta. Behind AGRA are the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and the Rockefeller Foundation.

Bought media

As mentioned above, the pandemic preparedness strategy gave a major role to the mainstream media, which were to make the disease visible and instil in populations its dangerousness and the legitimacy of the measures. That suited them fine: fear and sensationalism are the bread and butter of mainstream titles. But beyond that, how did the involvement of renowned media become possible?

Suffering for decades from declining revenues, which translates into a lack of time, manpower, resources and know-how, the mainstream media (especially the press) are forced to cut back their content and independent field research, and instead regularly pick up the headlines of the major press agencies. As a result, money from oligarchs is welcome.

Often, after a first experimental donation, if the media outlet has proved cooperative, it is funded more regularly by an oligarch or his NGO. Once used to these flows of money, the media outlet becomes dependent on them, because these sums represent a large part of the revenue, not of the media group, but of the title itself. Thanks to this influence, the oligarchs would not even need to intervene directly in editorial content; a tacit agreement sets in. However, the money comes with conditions, and a foundation such as the BMGF, for example, takes care to literally note on its website what its donations are to be used for. Much less intended to fund all of a media outlet’s activities, they are most often used to create new sections designed to promote the donor’s interests and stifle criticism.

Dissenting voices are omitted, or even pushed aside. Conversely, lobbyists in the pay of the same oligarchs speak repeatedly and across several media outlets, where they are presented as independent experts, which creates an impression of authority and of an unavoidable consensus. Transparency and criticism, once they have become inescapable and undeniable, are only admitted sparingly and hidden in the depths of the titles.

This is how many (if not all) of the so-called reference titles have become the target of oligarchs: der Spiegel, The Guardian, Le Monde, El Pais, the BBC, etc., none has been able to escape it. As a result, no mainstream media outlet has any interest in reproaching the others for this system. On the contrary, as they are part of it, they tend rather to normalise it, trivialise it and justify it.

The next stage is the establishment of a kind of international press agency, Project Syndicate, created by George Soros, which already produces editorial content for more than 500 media outlets in more than 156 countries, translated into several languages. We have not heard the last of them.

For a dedicated readership

This is a major investigation, rich in information and detail, which lays the foundations for any future investigation into one of the most decisive and intriguing historical episodes we have known. That said, although fascinating, the book is likely to appeal only to a dedicated readership, as it is rather hard to read due to the succession of names, acronyms and details, which can sow some confusion and a feeling of being overwhelmed. One hopes for a revision in the next edition to make up for the lack of time spent on finishing and proofreading. We nevertheless strongly recommend reading it in stages. In any case, it is an indispensable book for any researcher, investigative journalist, investigator, etc. interested in this unique episode of our History.
