The last masks fall
The “Pass” in Hamburg will even exclude unvaccinated people who cannot be vaccinated
As reported by NDR (German public broadcaster) on 29 August 2021, the new health pass introduced in Hamburg will henceforth exclude all unvaccinated people, even those who would like to get vaccinated but have comorbidities that prevent them from doing so. During the first 6 weeks, the only exceptions granted will be for unvaccinated children up to the age of 18. After that, they will only apply to those up to the age of 12.
This makes the argument “get vaccinated for those who cannot” utterly absurd, since whether you are vaccinated or not, those who cannot be vaccinated will nevertheless be excluded. The last masks of health segregation are falling.
Translation of the extract [1] in question:
“[…] Exceptions only for children and young people
Children and young people up to the age of 18 will initially be able to take advantage of the 2G offers (“Genesen” = recovered, “Geimpft” = vaccinated, editor’s note) regardless of their vaccination status. This exception will only apply during the first six weeks, and will then only be valid for children under 12. However, there will be no exceptions for adults who cannot be vaccinated because of a comorbidity or an ongoing pregnancy. […]”
