Against arbitrariness, the strength of Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays…
In Germany, during the Covid “crisis”, the RKI (Robert Koch-Institut), a long-established institution and a reference in research and public health, served as scientific cover for the health measures issued by the German federal government for political reasons. On Monday 28 September 2020, six months after the start of the first lockdown, which began on 16 March 2020, citizens gathered in Berlin in front of the RKI to protest against the health dictatorship. Since then, every Monday, citizens have continued to gather in front of the RKI.
This Monday, 29 September 2025, after 260 Mondays, marks exactly the fifth anniversary. And on this 261st Monday, a group of “Schneemenschen” — snowmen, the equivalent of the French “Masques Blancs” — are taking part in the mobilisation, with a specific demand. Through their solemn and silent presence, dressed in white, they are calling for the release of the growing number of doctors being convicted and imprisoned.
Doctors convicted and imprisoned!?
Yes, in Germany, doctors who went against the official health narrative, through their public statements or through the care they gave to the sick, or simply by helping people in distress – these dissident doctors are increasingly being prosecuted under criminal law and punished with growing and disproportionate severity, including prison sentences, such as Drs Bianca Witzschel, Volkhard Pschierer, Heinrich Habig… and this despite the truths emerging on both sides of the Atlantic that validate their positions.
The “Schneemenschen” with the names of persecuted doctors and slogans such as: “Heal rather than profit” - “Nuremberg Code” - “Already more than a thousand doctors (persecuted)”…
Proof of the arbitrary nature of these convictions had already been provided in Germany itself: in 2024, the leak of the RKI’s internal minutes (the “RKI files”) publicly showed that the RKI had endorsed measures dictated solely by politics and in no way scientific. Indeed, from the very start of the “pandemic”, the RKI had a correct assessment of the low level of danger and thus knew that the health measures were useless, ineffective and disproportionate*.
Political measures, then, knowingly disguised as pseudo-science, which proved destructive for the population’s health and for social and economic life.
Particularly damning, the RKI knew that:
- the Covid danger was nil for children, who were nevertheless masked or vaccinated, damaging the mental and physical health of far too many of them
- the effectiveness of mask-wearing was unproven and it was possibly harmful for a majority of the population
- the lockdowns were disproportionate, even harmful.
All this was in the RKI’s internal documents but was, between 2020 and 2024, deliberately hidden from the public. Thus, trust in a historic institution was not only lost, it was betrayed.
So much so that, as Monday demonstrators report, some RKI employees themselves are now expressing their support for the weekly demonstration.
Through citizens’ perseverance, little by little, Monday after Monday, will the truth come out at the very place where it was most scandalously violated in Germany?
Will Belgians, French, Swiss and Quebecers come up with their own Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays… in front of the institutions that betray their trust?
Let us also remember the “Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo”, the mothers, grandmothers, sisters and wives of those who disappeared under the Argentine dictatorship of the 1970s, who gathered every Thursday in front of the presidential palace. Mocked at first (as “madwomen”), over the years they eventually became one of the strongest levers that brought down the dictatorship.
