Dr Colignon’s complaint against the RTBF
Following his open letter[1], Dr Colignon has filed a complaint against the RTBF with the Conseil de Déontologie Journalistique. The complaint challenges the RTBF’s coverage of a study linking hydroxychloroquine to 17,000 deaths during the first wave of Covid‑19.
Colignon criticises the RTBF’s presentation of the study, pointing out inconsistencies and extrapolations that he considers fallacious, and highlights the importance of ethical communication on sensitive subjects.
